DCFW Elder Support Resources
The Elder Support network was created to enable neighbors to assist neighbors with the variety of unique challenges which affect the quality of our daily lives that aging in place presents. Many of our 145 DCFW households include residents over 65 years of age. Some are original homeowners who have lived here for more than 40 years.
Any DCFW elder or family member can reach out for help from volunteer neighbors for items ranging from assistance with household chores to caregiver relief or home health care advice. The primary obstacle tends to be overcoming the reluctance to ask for help. Please allow us the opportunity to be good neighbors by submitting a request (see options below) or contacting us at eldersupport@dcfw.net
